About Us

The mission of the Women's MBA Network is to increase women's leadership in the Philadelphia region by offering educational programs that help professional women become more effective leaders at work, in the community, and at home. To further their mission, the Women's MBA Network received their 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in the fall of 2007.

Enhancing Women: Professional Development Events

The Women's MBA Network coordinates three Professional Development Events annually to address key issues facing women, such as career development, work/life balance, diversity in leadership, and giving back to the community. Read about previous Professional Development Events.

Connecting Women: SuperNetworking Events

The Women's MBA Network serves as a convener for women's groups in the region. We organize two networking events each year and coordinate an annual luncheon of women leaders as part of our Professional Women's Super Network initiative. The SuperNetworking Events are held twice a year and offer opportunities for women from across the professional spectrum to network in a comfortable, supportive environment. Developing Women: The MBA Initiative

The MBA Initiative enables the Women's MBA Network to mentor and support collaborative efforts led by female MBA students from Philadelphia-area business schools, including the Wharton School, Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, La Salle University School of Business, Villanova School of Business and Temple University Fox School of Business. In 2008, the MBA Initiative supported a collaborative event focused on entrepreneurship at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, which was open to graduate students from business schools in the Philadelphia region. The MBA Initiative coordinates approximately two collaborative events per academic year. Event topics are driven by student interest, and the Women's MBA Network leverages its network, expertise, and resources in support of such events. Read more about previous MBA Initiative events.
